Poco X3 to launch in India on September 22 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Poco has confirmed the launch of its new Poco X3 smartphone in India. The company has scheduled an online event for September 22, where it will launch the smartphone. Poco has also confirmed that the smartphone will be available online on Flipkart. It is expected that the company might price the Poco X3 under Rs 20,000.
Launched recently in Europe, the Poco X3 comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 × 2400 pixels resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor with Adreno 618 GPU.
The device packs 6GB RAM and comes in two storage options — 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. Poco X3 runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own MIUI 12. The device comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster.
Coming to the camera, thePoco X3 sports a quad-camera setup which comprises a 64MP maon sensor with LED flash, f/1.89 aperture, 13MP 119° ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth and 2MP 4cm macro sensor. The front of the handset houses a 20MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone comes with a splash resistant coating backed by a 5160mAh battery with 33W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual 4G, VoLTE, Wi-FI, Bluetooth and USB Type-C.
Recently, Poco launched the Poco M2 in India with a starting price tag of Rs 10,999. The smartphone has a 6.53-inch full HD+ screen and is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor and runs MIUI 11. For camera duties, the smartphone boasts of an 8MP AI camera at the front for selfie. The Poco M2 is equipped with a quad lens camera at the back. The rear camera system comprises a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens.
